	As car security systems have improved, thieves have turned to new methods of stealing vehicles;
	Hook & Cane or stealing the keys from your home/workplace
	Car Jacking or petrol station forecourt theft
	This new system protects both you and your mini
	Fully automatic, nothing to touch.

Operation: The system is operated by the driver carrying a personal transponder (2 are provided with the system, more can be added). The transponder should be kept on the driver (wallet etc) NOT on the keyring.; Providing the transponder is within 30 meters of the car, it runs fine.; If the keys are stolen from your house/workplace or if you are dragged from the car at traffic lights, the thief can drive off. Once 30 meters away the system will become active, counting a further two and a half mins.(Thus allowing you to be clear of the danger area) After this time when the car is stationary for more than 2 seconds, the engine is immobilised and the hazards activated.; The vehicle will no longer run until a transponder is brought within range

	When your car is recovered, it is returned to you by the RAC

Operation: Once fitted this system will automatically track your car if it is stolen without the keys. (If they have your keys it can be activated with a quick phone call.) The car will then be tracked by an operator at a secure centre and the details passed to the police. If they can't respond immediately the car will be monitored until they can.
Fitting: It can be fitted to all models of Mini in half a day
Cost: From £449 fitted, plus subscription of £120 per year or £350 lifetime
